San Diego Tech Fest, Fall 2010

This was probably the most attended, most exciting Tech Fest yet!! There were a number of excellent projects completed by students. Here are some of the best ones.

Teacher's Award for Most Original, Best Done Project

Follow Me Robot

The most original project this quarter was the 'Follow Me Bot'. The students used two BOE-Bots. The leader was designed just to wander around and avoid obstacles. The follower was designed to stay about six inches away from the leader at all times. You can see in the video, that when the leader hits the wall or an obstacle and backs up, the follower backs up and maintains contact. When the leader moves on, the follower follows.
